The Murray-Calloway County Chamber of Commerce, Town & Gown, Murray-Calloway Economic Development Corporation, Murray Main Street and Murray Convention & Visitors Bureau will be tailgating before the MSU Racer football game Nov. 22. Beginning at 11 a.m., the groups will have a tent at the stadium with food and fellowship before the Tennessee State game which kicks off at 1 p.m. Chamber members can reserve a limited number of free tickets for the game. Harvest Land Ministries in Murray will host an Open House and Celebration Service in the new church building at the corner of Plainview Drive and Doran Road on Saturday, November 22. The Open House is from 2pm-5pm and the service is at 7pm.
The annual Hanging of the Green service and holiday meal will be held Sunday, November 23, at 5:30 at First United Methodist Church. Tickets for the meal are $5 for adults, $3 for children, or $15 for the whole family. Tickets for the meal must be purchased in advance by November 16.
